I thought this group's video was very well put together. They explained the history of the company and how certain events caused the company's goals to shift. The events that led to the changes in OpenAI were presented clearly so that the audience understood the story behind it. I thought the research in this video was in depth. I think the group's research is evident in how they could provide details on key players in the company. This video informed the audience of the roles these key players had and the events they were involved in. Overall I thought this video felt like a mix between a tech research paper and a current events paper (in a good way). I was able to learn about OpenAI and was drawn into the story about the growth of the company. Considering that there were only 2 people in this group, I assume a great deal of teamwork went into this project. Between the information in the video and the actual video itself, I think it is impressive that this group of 2 produced this video. I think this video was targeted well to an audience of experts, but it would also be interesting for the general public.

I thought it was interesting to learn about automation throughout our history. I did not know that fears of automation are not new as people in previous generations had similar worries about new technologies. This group also explained how AI is used in many different types of work. They provided clear examples of companies actively incorporating AI and how they have been impacted by it. The presenters keep the audience engaged by asking rhetorical questions. They ask the audience to think about what their experiences would be like without the hassle of human interactions while doing daily activities. This video also keeps the audience engaged by addressing concerns regarding automation and how they will be affected. I believe the amount of information in this video is a reflection of the teamwork that went into it. Every part of this video was interesting in its own way and each member of this team did well. I thought this video was targeted well towards professionals. One thing I thought could improve this video would be more information on how automation works.

This video introduces the evolution of wearable tech and provides the viewers an appreciation for how far this tech has come. I would have liked to see this group elaborate more into one topic (perhaps the watches) instead of introducing more wearable technologies. The presentation is clear and the narration is paced well and easy to understand. It is evident that the group researched each of the devices they presented. They provided different examples of wearable tech and how each of them evolved. This presentation looks like it required many sources to complete, but I do not think the research into each topic was extensive. The video was fairly simple, but the graphics in the video were helpful because it offered a visual description of each of the wearable technologies covered by this group. I think that this group used teamwork to complete the project. I thought each of the topics were evenly discussed, which I assume was a result of the group evenly dividing work. Although this video was informative, I thought it was more suited for the general public. I thought this video more or less explained what these devices did but not how it worked.

In this class, I learned the most while doing my own research for assignments. I learned a lot about AI and neural networks while researching for the group video project. I did most of my research by watching youtube videos and the thing I found the most interesting was how neurons in a neural network learn and how data is manipulated. I also learned a lot working on my industry analysis essay. I asked some of my friends that work in my topic industry what they do at work, and I learned how things we learn in class are applied in the work space. I personally found embedded systems and backend development to be the most interesting things we talked about.
My team and I were able to effectively plan assignments through discord. It was sometimes difficult for us to join group calls at the same time, so we relied on messaging each other mostly. How we collaborated this class worked well and we were able to contribute to assignments when tasked to. There were a couple of times where I felt the group was slightly unorganized, and I think establishing formal roles for particular assignments may help in the future. I also think as we learn more about each other, we will figure out each other's strengths and weaknesses and learn to work together more efficiently.
